Your money waits until your parcel arrives.
This page explains in plain language how your money is held, who holds it, when a seller gets paid, and what happens if a parcel is late, damaged, or not what was shown on camera.
1. Who holds your money
Snatch does not store your card details or hold buyer funds in an informal operational account. Every payment is processed and safeguarded by licensed financial payment providers in your market:
- South Africa (ZAR): Paystack (SARB / PASA licensed payment processor)
- Nigeria (NGN): Paystack (CBN-licensed payment processor)
- Kenya (KES): M-Pesa & Paystack (CBK-licensed)
- Europe & US (EUR/USD): Stripe (FCA / EEA / US licensed institution)
2. Exact release, dispute, and refund timelines
On confirmation or Day 7
Seller payout is released when you tap “Confirm Delivery” in the app, or automatically 7 calendar days after the courier logs physical delivery if no dispute is opened.
Auto-refund at 72 hours
Sellers must hand the parcel to PAXI, Pargo & The Courier Guy within 48 hours. If no courier scan is recorded by 72 hours, you can cancel with one tap for an immediate 100% refund.
Video-backed dispute review
Every live show is recorded. If your item does not match the condition or authenticity shown on stream, our team compares your unboxing photo against the show timestamp and issues a full refund within 48 hours.
Bids never send late.
“Bids never send late. If your connection drops, your bid fails loudly so you never pay for something you didn't mean to.” Every bid carries a client-side timestamp checked against the server room clock—stale packets after a tower handover or inverter switchover are rejected automatically.
Verified hosts & off-app redaction
Every seller must pass government ID and bank account ownership verification before any payout can leave the Vault. Scam Shield blocks phone numbers and off-app EFT requests in chat, and every stream has a 1-tap Report & Block button.
